3. Please include a self-addressed envelope so we know where to mail your filed document.
4. Once we receive your Fictitious Business Name Statement and two checks, we will hand-deliver your form and payment to the Sacramento County Clerk -Department of Finance office (700 H St., Room 1710) for filing. After the filing is completed, we will immediately mail you (by First Class U.S. Mail) a filed/endorsed/date-stamped copy of your Fictitious Business Name Statement.
Note: If you do not have a personal check or a business check, a money order or a cashier's check (issued by a U.S.-based bank or credit union) is also acceptable.
5. We will then arrange the publication of your Fictitious Business Name for four times (once a week for four consecutive weeks) in a qualified Sacramento newspaper.
6. After the four-time publication is completed, we will make sure your Proof-of-Publication is promptly filed with the Sacramento County Clerk-Department of Finance office. For your convenience, we will also mail you (by First Class U.S. Mail) a filed/endorsed/date-stamped copy. This date-stamped copy is your evidence that everything has been completed before the deadline.
